My name is Emilie Schada, a three-year breast cancer survivor. My professional background in community planning and economic development pivoted to grant writing for a charitable nonprofit healthcare provider after treatment in 2022 so others could benefit from the same quality care I did. I am originally from Michigan including Kalamazoo and Gladstone but call Belleville, WI home with my husband, two teenage sons (yikes!) and pug, Eleanore. If I’m not attending one of the boy’s sporting events, I’ll be hiking, doing photography, or singing in choir or in any band needing a Def Leppard cover.
